Welding of our metal parts is done in this heavy industrial area. Actually, that's a grass airstrip right down the middle lined with a handful of hangars. This hangar is itself a homebuilt and is packed full of large metal working tools. It's home of the aircraft certified welder we use for all the welded parts that go into an Express aircraft. I was standing by the back door of their home when I took the photo on the right so you can see they don't waste much time commuting to work.

Jilene and Steve are partners in this enterprise. She runs the heavy machines and does the book work. Steve does the beautiful welding you see on our finished metal parts. One of their employees is arc welding an engine mount.

Here are some of our retractable gear parts in process. Nose gear parts on the left and one in the center about to be welded in this fixture made to accurately hold the parts in position for welding. On the right are main gear parts. You can see that there are lots of parts that go into the Oleo struts.
